The Nationial Cartoonist's Society commisioned this portfolio to raise funds for Milt Gross Fund that was a charity used to help out fellow socity members. This was started in 1977 and after many delays due to some artists being slow to complete their work was finally delivered in 1978. To make up for the delay 6 bonus plates were included but were not signed. This set is #1159 of 1500.
